Although a sound card isn't mandatory, you will lose most of the effect of this demo without one. The best thing about this download, is that the demo will take much, MUCH less time to load on subsequent visits. The first time you run it, you will be prompted to install two components from Microsoft's site. Say YES unless you don't want to experience the utter coolness of the demo! If you lack the other components, then I sorry to say that you'll be missing a cool demo. Really. Maybe you'll be privileged to experience it in another life... More About MerlinThe agent you are about to witness, Merlin, was obtained from the sample script on Microsoft's Agent Home Page. It is (was) a fairly complex script, with three different agents, and I had to do quite a bit of pruning to avoid having all of them show up. I also fiddled for a few days to get Merlin to actually do more than talk. Nevertheless, I think that you will find this experience both Cool and Enjoyable!
